Last year, the Florida Messenger Association had 106 attendees at its annual meeting. This year we should easily pass that number. In addition to all the Florida companies that will be attending, we plan to invite companies throughout the US and Canada. Last year, we were glad to see so many courier companies visit from up North so it will be a fantastic networking opportunity for all. MCAA holds a Government Affairs Lobby Day each spring which allows our members voice their concerns directly with the decision makers. This event is a great opportunity to meet with federal elected officials to educate them on the importance of the courier industry and the vital role it plays in the American economy. This year's Government Affairs Lobby Day will be held on Tuesday, February 28th, at the Washington Marriott in Washington, DC. An evening reception will be held on the evening of February 27th.
